Early voting allows you to vote before Election Day. You vote on the same voting equipment used on Election Day.  There are many advantages to voting early, namely being able to choose a day during the early voting period that best fits your schedule. You can also update your address and vote at the same time.

To vote during the early voting period, you do not need an excuse. You may vote early purely for the sake of convenience.

To vote early, you must appear in-person at the Hardeman County Election Commission office at 106 S. Porter St., Bolivar, TN 38008.

For each election, early voting begins 20 days before the election and ends 5 days before the election.

Note: Although closed from voting on holidays, a person may vote early on any Saturday that falls during this time frame.  (The only exception to this time period, involves a municipal election in which there is not any opposition for any of the offices involved on the ballot.)

For details regarding times and early voting locations, contact the Hardeman County Election Commission office at 731-658-4751.
